liberal dip-shits (soros philosophy) idea of crime reduction is to label criminals as 'victims', and not prosecute... i read this article (https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-york-senior-citizen-charged-muggers-shooting-death-had-warned-local-newspaper-rising-crime) this morning, and one of the commenters who goes by the handle of 'thelennon' had this reply: "I have a question: If the police are de funded and there are less officers in the streets, and the prosecutors do not prosecute crimes. Lower all felonies to misdemeanors. And the police are just not allowed to arrest people for certain crime. Will that make crime statistics appear that crime has gone down? When in fact crime is up , But just not counted because it was not prosecuted."

... his actions suggest that the repeat-offender/would-be robber is now exactly where he chose to be, they also suggest that bringing a ball-point pen to a gun-fight is fvcking stupid, and the fact that he was pretending the pen was a gun doesn't excuse his actions or soften the crime one iota, but it shows that he was a bad actor that didn't know his audience... i wouldn't bring ANY charges against charles, he has every right to defend himself from career criminals... when certain humans make the decision to victimize others they generally stay on that trajectory, many of those folks engage in 'crime sprees', and won't/can't stop during their lunatic episodes, which is why 'stand your ground laws' are effective, and criminal-coddling laws like MA's 'turn and run laws' are a fool's game, when you stand your ground you not only protect yourself, but you also protect the next victims that the possessed lunatic intends to hurt as well... rabid critters have to be dispatched to stop their momentum and terror, sometimes deviant personalities pack together, and so you may have to protect against multiple attackers, which is why '10 round clip' champions are terrible in high-populated geographies... read the opening paragraph of the US constitution to help you understand why over-zealous anti-gunners shouldn't have the last-laugh in America, everyone that's capable should be packing a Glock seventeen (or higher caliber/mm) with standard magazines, not the commie-preferred 10-rd limited ones, those ten rounders are for boy scouts to practice with, not for adults :-)
Once you apply for--and receive--the permits in their respective states you will have the legal authority to carry your peace-makers in 37 states that aren't run by communist sympathizers
