My only disagreement is with the “nothing new under the Sun” principle. To me that is defeating. My source on that is Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, paraphrased: You are something new under the Sun.
Thanks Eric, glad that any of it is beneficial, i wrote that when i was coming out of a sh1t-storm, and beginning to see reality a bit more clearly, and with some optimism/hope/motivation... i'll try to re-work that part that you mentioned... the 'nothing that's new under the sun' thing is parsed from Bible (Ecclesiastes sp?)... i never did much of a deep-dive on that verse, chapter, and circumstances (it's quite poetic actually)... but the way i was using the chunk of verse is 'similar but different' in regards to the sorts of things that get us stuck in grief and depression... and now that you mention it, let me make sure i wasn't using that bit of verse completely out of context.
They have support-groups for survivors, and folks that experiences similar traumas, or their families/loved-ones, and that's sort of where i was going with that... lemme take another look at that part of the post, and see how to make it more accurate, and not screw-up the verse either.
Thanks again buddy, hope you are well, and moving along with your latest project. -- ct
I see. I am a bit out of it today. If by project you mean film, I have abandoned that last project. The Academy Award Winner told me that he made a mistake, that his contact lied and did not know Leo D. After that it failed, and I let it. Next!
this is a pretty good article, you might have to sign-up for her newsletters to read it, but her newsletters are good, so i don't know if there are any drawbacks to doing so: https://nesslabs.com/chaos-surfing... in my perspective the 'rudder' is the Ultimate Reality, and getting 're-grounded' during the midst of exhaustive stimuli and unexpected situations are critical for personal and collective evolution, and staying on a trajectory for working on behalf of God and man.
Humans have many senses/sensors, we process our experiences/environment using our intelligence, we are connected to God through our minds/thoughts/prayers ... My question to the reader, What sorts of human feedback do you think that God appreciates and finds useful/helpful/valuable? How might God use our feedback to effect the future?

Otherwise, a beneficial article.
